So someone on my flist did this meme and I was talking to augustfading and I said I would do a Riley picspam because I'd never done one and she said I should so here we go. This took me quite a while. I actually had to make caps from his movies. I finally finished after 2 or 3 days of working on this how sad is that?

My very wonderful and talented friend Nita Burson painted this amazing picture of Misha Collins for Support Supernatural and one of the members of Support Supernatural Lindsey Warren got it signed personally by MIsha at the recent Chicago Convention. She asked me to post about it on here so that we can get as much money possible for the charity A Dog's Life Rescue. They will be getting 100% of the proceeds. Hopefully we can get quite a bit of money for them because this one of a kind painting definitely deserves lots of bids! It would make a great gift for any Misha fan. Happy Bidding!

Just wanted to let you all know that for the JA Birthday Charity Project we got 3600 dollars!! I can't believe that it's SO awesome!! I really never believed we would get that much!! Thank you all!! For those of you at the LA con who donated I'm going to be at the Karaoke night on Friday and will have the card with me so that you can sign it if you want!! I will also be around on Saturday I'd imagine in the bar if you want to sign it then!! I hope to catch you guys theere!! I will have a big birthday card I have bright RED hair blue eyes kind of on the chunky side about 5 6. Hopefully we can get everyone to sign it that participated. I just have to update right now even though I am kind of in shock!! We just received a HUGE donation from some very sweet, lovely, dedicated girls in Brazil!! We have over 2700 DOLLARS GUYS!!! I can't really believe it at all. When we were even kind of hoping for an unreachable goal it was 2,000 dollars and we've gone way beyond that and I can't believe it!! It's SOO FANTASTIC!!! Thank you guys so much!! We still have a few more days until the cut off MARCH 20th is the LAST DAY!! We will be doing the raffle then and 2 lucky winners will be getting two personal portraits done by the talented beckieb on LJ. I hope all of you are doing well. Sorry we haven't updated in a while but we've both been busy, We wanted to give you all an update on the project and how it is going. Since our last update we are extremely shocked and pleased to announce that we have MADE OUR 2nd GOAL!!! As of yesterday we reached over 1500 dollars!!! That is SO AMAZINGLY AWESOME!! We both were very shocked. Thank you guys for makng that possible!! We really never expected this project to become as big as it has and it's all because of you guys!!

As we mentioned last time we ares still doing the raffle for the 2 portraits that <lj user=beckieb> is going to be making for the 2 lucky winners! We have extended the deadline for the raffle and for donations. The deadline is going to be March 20th. We just wanted to give everyone a little bit more time to get everything in before the con.

Also we are still going to be doing the card for Jensen so everyone that has donated please either send us an email or comment with what you want us to put on the card for you or if you will be at the con we are going to be setting up a time at the con for you guys to sign it yourself. It's in Row N Seat 18 right on the end of the row should be a pretty great seat. I"m pretty sure this is the first row of Silver too!! I'm asking 299+7.50 shipping that Creation charges so 306.50. I hope everyone had a great Holiday and a Happy New Year!!
We have some amazingly awesome news for the Charity Project as of Christmas Eve WE HAVE MADE OUR GOAL!! A very kind person sent us quite a large donation and that brought us over 1,000 dollars. We, as of right now, are at $1,101.87. And I still have a $30.00 check that I need to donate. (Sorry donator! I will get that done this week!) HOLY CRAP! WE MADE GOAL! WOOOHOOO!! And it is ALL thanks to you guys! You guys are AMAZING and we can't thank you enough!

We are both so humbled and shocked that we have been able to reach our goal and still have around 2 months to do even better! Since goal was $1,000 we think that maybe we will raise it to $1,500 just as a bonus. And TRIPLE his donation from the soap-box derby. We have an awesome incentive for you guys to donate more and for those of you who have already donated to the charity. A very talented artist, beckieb, has very generously offered to make 2 drawings of anything you want for two lucky winners that have donated to our charity or will donate by March 1st. This is the way it will work: It will be done in a raffle-like style so that for every dollar you donate or have donated it will equal one entry into the raffle. Were going to give everyone a number starting with the first donation we received to the last then we'll put all the numbers through a random generator and pick two numbers. Here is an update about the Jensen Ackles Birthday Project. We now have over 200 dollars worth of donations from some of you awesome people. That is so amazing. By donating 200 dollars you have just helped to provide Infection-fighting antibiotics to treat nearly 80 wounded children. How awesome is that? Thank you so much! We have met 22% of our goal and I know we can make it by March, but we definitely need your help!

I figured I should make a real post being it's been a while other than my EyeCon reports and stuff. I haven't gotten around to posting my pics yet because they are mostly all dark and I had to lighten them all what a pain in the ass that is. I got about 3/4 of the way through it. I'm not sure anyone really cares at this point though you're all I'm sure sick of hearing about it. I seemed to have acquired the con crud like I always do and I had to break down and go to the doctor on Sun of last week. He gave me some antibiotics though (which I didn't think he would) and after the first megadose I was already starting to feel better and now I'm pretty much fully recovered. I swear my immune system is so crappy I really should take airborne or something before I go to cons but I am horrible about remembering to take it and I never follow through with it. Work has been pretty busy lately lots of people making requests and I was trying to catch up a bit too because I didn't go to work Sun or Thurs of last week so it kind of piled up, but now it's slow again so I was able to email people that I'd meant to email sooner and stuff. I really am horrible with email I do well with IM where it's real time and I can talk back and forth I think I like the instant gratification of it or something. I know some may not have time to use it but at work I can do that and about 3 or 4 other things so it's much more convenient than say talking on the phone where I can do nothing really while trying to concentrate on what someone is saying. I find I get distracted easily on the phone. It amazes me sometimes that I used to do that as a job for over a year because I really am not a good phone person usually.

The other night I had to call technical support for my internet and gosh I HATED doing that. Plus the guy wanted to make small talk and hit on me while I just wanted to get my internet fixed. He told me I should come visit him in India and I told him I would if he sent me money to which he said he'd send me money. Very odd maybe he thought I had a sexy voice or something I dunno but definitely weird. It sucked I had to talk to him for so long while my Dad's slow ass comp started up and I had to reset the whole internet on all 3 comps because he didn't know my password for my router (apparently I had somehow changed it even though I have no idea how to do it nor does anyone else in the house but whatever).

I might be able to go to the Chicago Con in November. One of the people on the Chicago Con Community said I could have her gold ticket if no one else will give her photo ops to trade for the gold ticket, so I guess we'll see. I already have a hotel room booked at the con I just would need to get a plane ticket which shouldn't be too hard I don't think and it'd be cool because then I could go to the breakfast and see J2 and get their autographs and all the rest of the guests autographs so that'd be pretty awesome even without the photo ops (as much as I want them) I'm going to get them in LA. I totally lucked out with that I got the dual photo op and Jensen when I got my tickets about a month or so ago, but didn't have any Jared ones and like either last Fri or Sat I purchased 2 Jared's and another Jensen and then by Sun they were all sold out!! I was happy I got them when I did because I was going to wait on them. Can't believe they are already all sold out that's crazy! I told my Dad and he was like wow can't believe so many people would want there picture with them silly Dad he just doesn't understand. Ok this post consisted of a lot of con stuff sorry for that but really I have little to nothing much else to talk about. Real life isn't that exciting. Hope you all are doing well! Chrissy idril_telrunya and I hesaysokiedokie got to talking and we thought how awesome that charity project for Jared turned out and how Jensen deserves his own charity project and this is what came into being. We thought of how he was TOTALLY robbed in the soapbox derby and only got a “lousy” 500 bucks and how us fans could TOTALLY do a better job at getting his charity some money and at least double that donation. We feel that many things have been done for him over the years and after some of the past projects that have been done we really want to do something that will make a difference in the lives of others. This project will also show how much we as fans appreciate what Jensen does for us and how much we admire him.

The charity we decided was the charity he used for the soapbox derby, Doctors Without Borders. Which is an awesome charity. Here is a little bit of information about the charity. “Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization created by doctors and journalists in France in 1971.
Today, MSF provides aid in nearly 60 countries to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or natural disasters. MSF provides independent, impartial assistance to those most in need.”

Every little donation helps. If we raise 1000 dollars it will send emergency medical supplies to aid 5,000 disaster victims for an entire month. How awesome is that? Plus we will get him a totally CHEESY amazingly AWESOME trophy for his efforts in the soapbox (which I think we have already picked out and will completely come out of our pocket, none of the donations will be used for this) and present it to him with the charity efforts at the LA con, which is very close to his birthday.

I know that some people don’t like time being taken up at panels and we will ask the head honchos what they think will be the best bet. If we can do it then we will and be very brief, or we will wait till autograph time and see if we can record it. We also plan on doing a card with all the donors names hand written in it, and if you are able to make it to the con we will find a way to have you sign in it yourself!
So what do you say?

I know that with all the financial problems right now, money is tight, but if every member on supernatural_tv donates just one dollar we would have over 5000 dollars in donations!

The donations we get from that we will donate in one lump sum in Jensen’s honor right before the convention. We also have made ourselves a donation webpage, where all the donations go straight to Doctors Without Borders.
